The employer should be in a position to reach you in any way he or she prefers to or find you in one way if another fails. This is quite important and should never be overlooked.
Another important thing is to ensure that the CV is well formatted using bold items and tabs where necessary. Separate the different sections to make it easier to read and follow the flow. The resume should also be formatted to suit the current job you are targeting. Most people make the mistake of using the same CV in all the jobs they apply for which can be costly. The employer needs to feel that the CV is solely for him and that job opportunity.
Include all your education information including the degrees and dates and be sure not to forget any volunteer work you may have been engaged in as this shows your passion for the job. When looking to include any job experience you have had in the past, remember that only what is relevant to the job you are applying for should be included. Including too much information which is irrelevant to the job could end up losing a good opportunity so be careful with that.
