Guidance is the need of our children, in this time; media is not giving good influence for our children. Computers, cellphone and other source of technology is dangerous if not properly supervise by the parents. This is the hardest duty of being parents to our children. To be a parent, one must be prepared, to serve, to sacrifice, to love, to suffer, to laugh and to cry.
In order the children to learn we must do the right things in life. We are the one who will pilot their life in the right way. But not only that, our duty is also to be a friend to them, so they can tell us their problems in life. We should always there, when they need us. We must think of a strategy so our children will put their trust on us.
What is the strategy? How will we do to make our children trust us?
1. We should get along and make friends to them.
2. We should not say negative in anything their decision. But give suggestion and don't criticize.
3. We should study their problem.
4. Talk to them tells some stories that also happen to our life that related what problems they have...
5. Next we should make them feel that we are there whatever happens.
6. We should explain that everything we do is for the good and for their future.
7. In the smart way of talking to our children, step by step our children will learn to tell everything that we want us to know.
The responsibility of the parents to their children is 90% while 10% is on their teacher. We should not give all the responsibility to our children's teacher for them to give guidance. They only stay in the school for few hours only; teachers have limited access to our children's life. We are the one who are responsible to develop our children's mind and feelings, we are the only one who can control and can give a personal touch on them.
It is also our duty to visit their teachers in order to know the stand of our children in their class. We also need to guide them on their studies at home, check all their assignments if it necessary, and we have to encourage them that they can do great on class, that they can excel if they want too, also try them to express opinion , recite or participate whenever there is a discussion in the class. By means of studying we are the best teacher and preacher for our children. And lastly children's education are begin to build at home from the time our children was born.
If we do these to our children and they found out our effort to reach them they maybe have a second thought of doing something we parent wont like them to do. They maybe the one who will initiate to talk about their problems, means they are the one who will open up to you and, because they can trust you and they know you will never left them behind what ever happens.
