Usually making up for eyes take most of the time when you do make-up. Professionals spend even more than one hour to make-up for eyes. People can tell if you are a good or bad up maker just by looking at the way you make-up for eyes. So, you all understand the importance of eye make-up. Here are some tips for you not to spend much time on this most difficult part but still get the best result.
First of all, prepare your eyes with moisturizer. People tend to forget this step however it is so important that your eyes will be good or bad depending all on this. The moisturizer helps to prepare your eyes with lots of other steps and hydrate your eye skin to be ready for other steps. If you skip this step, your eyes will not look as good as they should be with the moisturizer.
The next step is that you apply eye concealer. Eye concealer is a must for people who have undereye circles or who have dark circles or even eye expression lines. If you do not cover those imperfections, you will mess up the whole make-up. Everything looks good but your eyes will tell people that you are not young anymore and you look quite old with all those circles. Use your fingers to get three dots and apply them onto your eye underline. Use your hands to blend them well together and make them look like your skin. Once you are done with this, we can move to the next step.
Once you have your concealer on, you can start with foundation. First you should apply the foundation all over your eyes with a brush. Once you spread your foundation all over your eyes, use your hand and blend them all together with rubbing motions. Then, you can choose the eye shadow you like to put on. Always start with the lighter shadow because they will be the base for your eyes to have some other darker colors on. You might pick soft pink or orange, whatever you feel like for. Following the light color, you can use the medium colors, which helps to blend colors well together. If you do not like light colors, you can also start with dark colors. However, the outer colors must be darker than the inner colors. Start from the lid, and then sweep to the brown. Blend them well with each other.
Next we come to the eyeliner. You can use the eye shadow brush to act as the eyeliner. The eyeline should not be too big and prominent because you do not want to separate your eyes with other parts of your eyes. That is why you should draw a small line which is big enough to sharpen your eyes only.
Now we come to a highlighter. Remember highlighter is not only used for your brow, but also used for the shadow. The brow should have something in common with the shadow. Once you are finished drawing your brow, you can put some of that on your shadow, on the center of your shadow so that it can make your eyes pop.
