Although vocal performance is common to basically all musical traditions, instrumental music also played its important role. Because of the love of music human tend to create instruments to produce a melodic sound that is pleasing to the ears. The many varieties of stringed instruments are distinguished by the positioning of the strings and resonating box and by the manner of playing. Strings can be bowed, plucked with the fingers or hammered. These instruments are the zither, lutes, guitar, banjo, violin, cello and harp. Harp is unique in that its plain of strings is perpendicular rather than parallel and its pitch is controlled with a pedal. Wind instruments are those instruments that produce sound through vibration of air. This vibration can be produced in many ways like blowing a whole or buzzing movement of the lips.
Its instrument includes trumpet, French horn, trombone, tuba, reed pipes, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and saxophone. Percussion instruments are usually played by striking or shaking which produce different pitch and sounds. The examples of these instruments are the timpani, bass drum, snare drum, triangle, bongo drums, cymbals, xylophone, tambourine, chimes and the orchestral gong. And the keyboard instrument which also plays as it produces vibration only when linked to some external sound source. Its examples include the grand piano, clavichord, harpsichord and the organ.
Since at the present we are already high in technology there are world instruments that are electronic and computer based. Its vibrating source is the speaker and the music comes from electronic driven instruments such as the electric keyboard and the electric guitar.
All musical instruments can be interesting for it provide dissimilar sounds and when creatively combined can produce a harmonious melody that can express an emotion of a person. It is also useful these days because it can provide relaxation and comfort.
All musical instruments are not hard to find there are many shops that specializes in selling musical instrument, you can visit some shops and see the instrument yourself.
