For those who are planning a special valentine honeymoon then a place faraway from the Newport Beach is the Catalina Island. A lot of people go there for their weddings. It will take you a boat ride to go there and you will reach the island within an hour from the Los Angeles area.
Reservations in advance are a must as Valentines Day is a special day and everyone like you will try to find a place so that you can just enjoy the solitude. Book the air tickets and the boat rides in advance. Make the dinner reservations in advance also so that you are not in a last minute scramble to find a place to wine and dine.
