For a musician, the more gigs you have the more you feel that your music is appreciated and it really is really a great feeling that you will be able to experience more and more as the days pass.
Lets say you are a newbie in the music business and you would like to know how to get more gigs. Well what you have to do is to make sure that you did great on the first time because as usual we all know that first impressions do last.
On you first gig you need to be fully prepared and fully equipped with confidence and talent. Its best you can tell your fans what you really want them to feel about your music. And at the same time be ready with those things that you have to accomplish like planning the time frame of your gigs and schedules, be able to get in touch with your friends, be ready with your music press kits for possible media coverage, sample CDs as well as having enough time to rehearse in a widespread way.
Now if you will be taking care of the venue as well you should be able to prepare what is needed to make sure that the venue will be ready on time. If your concert or the event is funded make sure that your sponsors are well informed regarding the venue so they will have an estimate regarding the expenses of the funded program.

In the main event or the time of your first appearance, make sure that everybody including yourself is on time. You should leave an impact to your audience to make them want your music more.
