We all know that the Beckham family are in a bit of a dilemma at the moment. David Beckham is currently deciding whether to move to AC Milan or stay at LA Galaxy, he has a big choice to make as if he wants to save his football career and play for England again then the choice is AC Milan. But if he wants to support Victoria Beckham's career, as it has really taken off lately in the states then staying in America would be good, but saying this Mrs Beckham is reluctant to move around again.
Hopefully there prayers could be answered, as Simon Cowell is rumoured to have offered a job to Victoria Beckham to become the new judge on the show, replacing Danni Minogue. But whether Victoria Beckham accepts or not is still to be decided, as she was previously offered a contract and turned it down to support her husbands football career.
Simon Cowell is said to have offered a whopping one million pounds per series for Victoria Beckham to join the show. Although Mrs Beckham does not want to return back, it would be a very hard offer to turn down.
But that leaves us with one question? Does the X Factor need to replace judges and presenters all the time? Every year we seem to see somebody new hit the screens, making the show about that one celebrity, when it should really be about the artists. Ok I understand that producers have to back themselves up in case a great talent is not found like Leona Lewis or Alexandra Burke, but it just goes too far.
It could in fact also be affecting the viewers; people don't want change every year. We get used to one face and then they get replaced. At least in shows such as American Idol they have had the same judge's year on year, which helps build a followship.
It just feels as though X Factor is beginning to take it over the top a little with publicity stunts or whatever you like to call it. Contestants take the show very seriously (well at least some of them). The show should solely be about tuning in to watch the great musical talent that Britain can offer. There is no need to water it down with sob stories, sackings or new judges.
So finally although Victoria Beckham would be a good addition it just does not need to happen. The show was fine with its three initial judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne.
