We have two questions today. First, I'll give my opinion of the program Traffic Geyser. Plus, I'll provide more ways to drive traffic to your website. Then we'll talk about whether you should offer a free or for a fee report to entice people to sign up for your list.
Question #1: I am looking to drive some quick traffic and I am considering using "Traffic Geyser" for everything it offers. Is that a good idea? Do you have other ideas for quick network marketing direct sales MLM traffic?
Answer: Traffic Geyser is not going to drive you quick, quick traffic. It is going to get you traffic and viewers, but not quick traffic. You have to have a lot of elements in place to get your videos out there to get traffic. Traffic Geyser will get you all over the Internet and give you a good Google image, but I don't know if it will give you tons of traffic.
The best way to get quick traffic is to write good articles. Writing and submitting articles is a form of viral marketing. Your articles will spread across the Internet quickly. Each article will contain your bio box that has a link to your squeeze page. This link will drive traffic to your squeeze page. Also turn on your Google AdWords campaign. You can also email your list to prompt traffic.
Let's look at your article strategy. You want to write a good article. Submit it to ezinearticles. Then submit it to other article directories. So instead of using Traffic Geyser, write a killer article instead, and use Article Marketer. Articles are a free approach to obtain traffic.
I also get good traffic from ads on Facebook. Target people that have network marketing direct sales as a keyword in their profile. You can target those profiles.
Question #2: When, as a newbie, one starts with building an almighty list is it better to offer a free report or a report that costs money? If so, what is the point?
Answer: If you are building a list you will get a lot more people if you are giving away a free report. You will get better quality people if they have to pay for the report. However, I say create a squeeze page, drive traffic to it, and offer them a free report so they'll opt-in to your list. This will make your list bigger and enable you to sell to a lot more people down the road.
I have often used the free CD strategy. Essentially, you want to provide the lowest barrier to entry and giving something away for free fits this bill.
