In any given city where there is a great deal of business, we'll use Boston as an example, almost all of the businesses in the city will require the use of a Boston courier service at some point in time during their daily business. However, the ever changing world of business and the ever changing businesses model means that, now, more and more people are operating their own businesses out of their homes or opening businesses in nontraditional locations. Why? Mainly because the fees associated with working in downtown or corporate locations, from real estate to taxes, can make doing business in more traditional locations cost prohibitive. Of course, even though there are businesses operating out of more homes and residential areas every day, these locations are not always going to have access to the same kinds of courier services those business locations in industrial or business zones will. However, they may assess a fee or a surcharge for residential pickup and delivery. Even though a business, such as a legal office, may operate out of a home and fit every other definition of a business, such as set hours that they are opened and closed, they may still face the fee if they are located in an area of the city that is zoned as a residential area. The primary reason for this is that the residential areas are almost never part of the scheduled routes that are planned by a Boston airport courier. This is why they must figure on the additional time, cost and fuel in order to make deliveries to such locations.
However, sometimes there is just no escaping the need to utilize a Boston courier service, even if you are located in a residential area. If this is something that you find that you require on a regular basis, the best thing that you could do would be to establish an account with the company and try to formulate a relationship with them. If you need scheduled pickups, you may be able to negotiate the fees for residential service. Of course, those located in residential areas with more sporadic courier needs will have to pay the fees.
