Most companies will do a total check on the driver's record of anyone looking for employment to ensure that they are not a person given to excessive speeding or with a history of accidents before they are hired by the company. This is both a measure of the company wanting reliable and high quality drivers, and is also often a term of the courier insurance that is carried by the company.
