You have oily skin. You face always look greasy and oily. On special days, you want to look different with the make-up. However, you wonder if you should wear make-up or not because your make-up will wear off just within a couple of hours and you will look even worse than normal. So, how would you treat your oily skin?
First of all, you have to make sure that your skin is oily. You can see a lot of oil on your face, but make sure you have it regularly. It is not just because you have just run miles and sweat a lot, which may make you look oily and greasy. So, regular oily face is the first sign.
The second sign is that you often have white and black heads. Oily skin is sensitive so it often reacts to external factors very often. That is why it tends to have white and black heads and open pores when you have a lot of oil on your face. Also, if you have many pimples, you tend to have oily skin too. So, if your answer is yes to most of these, for sure you have oily skin. And now you are going to treat it with the following ways.
Never use soap or chemicals to dry your skin and get rid of oil because your skin is very sensitive, and it will get irritated and even become worse if you keep using the chemicals. If you do not use soap, how can you keep your skin clean? Just wash it with water. Clean water will be the best recipe for oily skin. However, do not wash your face too much. Wash it three times per day and try to keep it clean between the two times you wash it.
Oily skin is also the one which usually gets the most of black and white heads as it gets affected from the external factors. That is why you should limit your time being exposed to sunlight and dirt. If you have to go out, apply sunscreen on your face. Make sure you put it on your neck and your hands too. Remember that if your face needs attention, so does your neck and your hands. One more note for you is that even on a cloudy day, ultraviolet is also very high, and it may harm your skin a lot. So, apply sunscreen on your face, your neck and your hands as well. Sunscreen of at least SPF 15 would work well for you. However, if you want to be careful, you should buy the stronger one.
You also need to take care of your skin at night. Put some moisturizers on your face. It is like you are feeding your skin after a long day of hard work and being exposed to all the harmful things like dirt, chemicals and environmental external factors. So, after a long time of working, your skin also wants to rest and be fed. Night time would be the best time for it. Natural masks would work well actually. Some say clay masks is best for oily skin. I personally have never used it. However, you can do no wrong using natural masks.
