If you are considering reuniting with your ex girlfriend, it is necessary that you don't move too fast. This is a big deal and you must do it nicely and take your time. First of all, remember why the relationship ended. How did you get along with her at that time? Most likely it was not as good as you wanted it to be, I would think. So it is crucial that you don't reunite with an ex girlfriend, if it will be as bad as it was and this is the reason why you broke up in the beginning. This would be very dumb wouldn't it?
Stop and take some time to really contemplate what it was that drew you to her at the very beginning part of the relationship. That's always the most fun time. The two of you can't wait to see each other. But later on, as the relationship becomes a lot more difficult. That's when times can get a bit tough.
Take some time and reflect on the relationship. Was it better in the beginning? Was it harder to get along closer to the end? Did you fight a lot? Were you or your ex different at the start of your relationship versus the end? What brought on the change?
Look at yourself in the mirror! Don't place all the blame on her, irregardless of the reason why the breakup took place. After you have sat down, and really thought this threw, you should have somewhat of a better idea if you would like to get back together with your ex-girlfriend. The important thing is to really dig deep and see if the relationship is even worth saving. If all signs point to yes, then its time to proceed.
Every one gets their heart broken sometime. Yes it hurts. We all want to know where we went wrong and what we could've done different. Why don't they love me anymore? What did I do? We all hope the other person will come to their senses and realize they made a mistake when they let us go. That they will call and say they want to get back together. It's just wishful thinking because it doesn't often happen that way. It takes time. Let them have some space. They will need to realize what they lost. Have patience. When they are ready, put you're plan into action.
Let's face reality. When people ring their ex's phone at 2am begging and pleading this never hardly works. The worst thing you can do is harass your ex to come back to you. In the first place, 99% of the time it won't happen, and in the second place, the 1% time it happens, people only stay together a short time after this.
I am aware that the concept of letting your ex have some distance and waiting for the time to pass, is probably making you a little nervous. Most likely you think "This is something that I can't do. They may meet someone new. I might never get them back!" Can you hear how desperate you are when you listen to your words? Do you believe that your ex is going to like this?
I know it may feel as if the world is crumbling around your head right now, but take some deep breaths, relax, and think logically about winning your ex back. You want to be able to be in the same room, and be able to talk to them without getting overly emotional. The only way you can accomplish this is through the passing of time when you've been able to get yourself together. There is no magic button that can be pushed, but if you take it easy, and take the right path, you'll reconcile with your ex, when and if the time is right. Remember, a watched pot will never boil.
