Everyday electricians work in domestic, commercial and industrial settings installing electrical equipment required for various applications. Electricians generally buy electrical equipment for these jobs from wholesalers, wholesalers sell electrical products, components and accessories at wholesale a price which reduces costs to the electrician and often allows products to be purchased in bulk. This allows the electrician to have access to all the components he will require for a job, whilst keeping costs to a minimum buying at wholesale prices.
Whilst most electrical installations will require large electrical components such as motors and cabling, lights and programmers for instance, however there are a whole host of electrical accessories which play a big part in any installation, these electrical accessories are generally the smaller parts which finish off jobs.
Electrical accessories which should be an essential part of every electrician's tool box include fuses, cable ties, plugs, sockets, terminal blocks, screws, crimping tools etc. These components are usually accessories which can be found even in the domestic tool box in many homes, but without such simple items some jobs could not be completed to the right specification.
Electricians will always have equipment such as electrical testing kits, these test meters enable electricians to work safely knowing what is live and what's not. When you call out an electrician it is useful to be able to give him/her a brief outline of what job you want them to undertake, this will allow them to have the equipment which they are likely to require at hand.
Preparation for any job is important this applies to most working environments and having a rough idea of what a job entails will provide enough information to be able to prepare all of the equipment, tools and electrical accessories required.
Electrical wholesalers are mainly used by electricians and people in the building trade, wholesalers will often allow companies to open business accounts which means that goods can be obtained on account and paid for after a job is completed or at the end of each month which gives the electrician the ability to have to goods ready for a job without having to find the money up front (obviously this applies to reliable clients who pay their bills).
The term electrical accessories to be fair covers a multitude of essential components to all electricians tools kits, without which installations would not be able to be completed. These accessories can range from simple things such as fuses for plugs to the tools which are required such as screw drivers, pliers, wire cutters and crimping tools as mentioned previously.
