Here's the plan. If you follow these steps you'll make it to the money.
1) decide on your niche - make up your mind, decide on your niche, and work it until you make a whole lot of money. The big online niches are money, health/fitness, property/taxes and of course,
never to be forgotten internet marketing,
2) figure out your path to profit - you want to begin by selling something low price, but with the ultimate intention of making a high price ticket sale further down the line,
3) get a domain name - real simple. Go to one of the big domain name sellers like godaddy and do a search for the domain name you want. Typically, they're going to cost you approx 20 dollars,
4) design your site - there are really only 3 important pages. Your squeeze page that collects your prospects name and email in exchange for something free, such as a free report, dvd, cd or ebook. Once your prospect enters their name and email they are brought to your salespage. The intention
here being to sell your product, and immediately thereafter they are taken to your thank youpage and that's it, at least the simple version, (and simple is usually best),
5) get copywriting done - now that you've got the design figured out, you need salescopy or copywriting. Simply the words or text on your website that is going to sell your product. I suggest having a look at sites similar to yours to get a feel for what is required, and then either wriet it yourself or outsource to elance or a similar website where you can outsource such projects,
6) source/ create product - either write or record the product yourself, for example a how to guide on setting your own beekeeping complex in your back garden. Alternatively licenses to many products can be acquired online, that you can then go on to sell on your website,
7) get an autoresponder - when your prospects visit your website, and choose to give you their name and email they're now on your list. The best way to continue to communicate with your prospects is by setting up an autoresponder. Basically this will allow you to communicate with your prospects en masse, by sending pre-written, specifically timetabled email messages,
8) do email marketing/ write autoresponders - this is such a critical piece of the selling process, that is super important that you get really good at it. We would suggest taking some email marketing lessons to help build rapport by email, in order to ultimately make sales,
9) get a free ebook/ rpt to build list - source the gifts, free reports etc to deliver to your prospects when they decide to join your list, to give you their name and email,
10) source bonuses for your offer - bonuses like discounts increase response that results in more sales.
For this reason, its important to source bonuses to tempt your prospects with, in order to make more sales,
11) get website live - until its live, nothing is going to happen. This means when people type your domain name into the address bar on their browser and hit enter, your website shows up,
12) make sure your paypal/ shopping cart button works - the most important part of this game is getting paid.
13) submit to directories - this is a good way to populate your website, to get linked to other sites, and to get ranked by the search engines, like google, yahoo etc
13) social marketing - tell your friends, your followers etc on twitter, facebook what you're doing and what you have to offer. This is a great way to get to your market,
14) set up an adwords campaign - drive traffic to your website with a advertising campaign with the internet's biggest pay per click, and search engine google
15) write articles - write articles that relate to your target market, that answer their queries, and provide solutions to their problems, then provide a call to action to bring traffic to your website,
16) youtube - make videos and post them on youtube to attract even more traffic. Some people like to read, a lot more like to watch. You want to attract them both,
17) affiliate marketing program - encourage other people to sell your product for you. Pay commission,
19) make offers to your list - sell to the people who sign up for your free product, by emailing offers to them, in addition to tips and good content,
20) measure and improve - pay attention and constantly seek to do it better
21) make sales/ deliver product and get paid - rinse and repeat.
