Learning to be a qualified electrician takes many years of college courses and without doubt training on the job, practical supervision is often the best way to learn a trade in conjunction with courses which provide you with all the theory you may need in this chosen career.
An electrician's job involves more than simply rewiring appliances or homes, it requires a full understanding of the power source and a respect for the working conditions, all electricians' have to understand the health and safety aspects of electrics prior to work.
Once an electrician has reached the competency required to work within the domestic or commercial industry, he or she will need to have readily available all of the tools for the job of which there are many.

Electrical Wholesalers will stock a wide array of tools and fittings, including wiring accessories, lighting and components, fuses, ventilation systems, cabling, PPE (personal protective clothing) and power tools.
Wholesalers also offer electricians and people directly connected to trade, discount on bulk purchases and ordering, they may offer business accounts so tools and accessories can be purchased on tick, this is perfect especially when on a job and needing to purchase new tools to complete work or if buying before bills are paid and money is tight.
Staff working at electrical wholesalers will generally be able to advise of new and improved tools on the market or be able to recommend equipment which perhaps you have not used, they will be a means of keeping up to date with the latest wiring accessories and gadgets arrive in the shop and will also have knowledge about the latest laws and standards which have been introduced or updated due to the stock they carry.
So from training to qualification, apprenticeship to working solo an electrician has to have the knowledge of both electrical work undertaken and access to electrical wholesalers in order to make a successful business run smoothly.
