Nintendo 3DS was developed and primed to become the successor to the Nintendo DS. The 3DS comes with an analogue stick called Slide Pad. It is an accessory that can only be used with software that has been programmed to use it such as Resident Evil Revelations and Monster Hunter. Though the Slide Pad is not integral to the majority of Nintendo 3DS software, on certain titles it will enable users to interact with the environment in new and exciting ways.
The list of 3DS games that made it to the 6 top 3DS games and invariably the best 3DS games are:
1.
2.1. Resident Evil : Revelations
Rachel is the mysterious operative on the good ship Queen Zenobia. For the first time in years, the general structure of the game should engage the brain of a Resident Evil player through its locked doors with control box puzzles, keys and mysterious pick-ups to save for later. That’s just the ship stuff. A dispatch to a snowy locale in order to investigate terrorist group Veltro could make up for the Zenobia’s comparative lack of set-piece thrills.
3.2. The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time
In addition to being an extension of everything that had come before, the template has evolved with ‘Z-targetting’ and the arrival of Epona. New technology has enabled the studio to realise all its most extravagant dreams.
3. Mario Kart 7
“Mario Kart 7 is as close to the purity and simplicity of the original racer as Nintendo has ventured in the 20 years. It’s frustrating, rewarding, addictive and entertaining in almost equal measure, and as much as you’ll rant and moan when your lead is snatched away on the last corner, you’ll keep going back for more. This is something that no 3DS owner should be without.”
4. Super Mario 3D Land
“If ever there was a game designed to appeal to the nostalgia of just about any Nintendo gamer, then this is surely it. It has a high benchmark for quality, a level of humour, invention and the sheer sense of joy that you only find in a Mario game.”
5. Sonic Generations
“An interactive celebration of Sonic’s entire 20-year career. Time trials play an important part in Sonic Generations’ replay value though there’s much more flexibility over how you approach them, unlike older Sonic games. Half the fun of Sonic Generations is in time trials.
6. Rayman’s Origin
“The real addictive qualities of Rayman Origins start to shine through when you discover the hidden objects. These hidden extras, in classic platformer fashion, play out like mini-puzzles and require a bit more forward-thinking and dexterity to come out on top. Try to chase them all down and you will get addicted.
