I'm a big believer that it's all about presentation. If you look presentable or you have something the other guy doesn't - more people will flock to you! In the case of craigslist - more people flocking to you and your free ads is exactly what you want! Not only is this going to get more people interested in what you have to say, but it also means more visits to your site. Now if you have a wee bit of common sense - more visits means? A potential to make more money. Now isn't that what we are all here fr anyway? To make some extra cash? To live a little better? I think so! We need money to survive it's just the honest truth. And chances are if you are advertising something online you are only doing it for one reason - to make money.
So in order to make money you need to dress your ads up like you would do for yourself on a business meeting or a job interview. Today I found a website that helps you "dress up" your craigslist ads by using a craigslist ad generator. This was completely free and yet it made each ad I tested it out on completely unique by using templates, fonts, colors, photos, etc. You could essentially make a few different ads - somewhere in the thousands and make each one look like it came from a different person with a different style or way of presenting themselves! I loved it. I think it's an awesome idea for anyone that sells online, uses craigslist or any other classified ads site for that matter.
The process is actually very simple and anyone can do it in a matter of minutes. You simply make your ad and include contact info, ad content, pictures, font formatting and that is it. Seriously, I'm not kidding around. If you are like me - you post on these sites a lot so chances are you already have a word pad file with a few pre-saved/pre-written ads. So you could take even less time by doing a copy paste from word pad to the ad generator content box. Once you're done you press next, you get your html code and that's it. Now you can post this puppy anywhere that accepts html codes. It's a terrifically ingenious way to get ahead of the game without spending one single dime on the actual ad process! Once you try this - you will never use anything else ever again!
