Another sign that your computer is infected with viruses is if its performance is much much slower than it used to be. While slower performance can often be attributed to little more than having too many files on one hard drive, viruses are most likely the cause if you have not had your computer for very long. Viruses can also cause system crashes and freezes on a regular basis, so if your computer has been experiencing an increased amount of either of these, then it is time your computer had a checkup. The average computer can usually manage to use a reputable anti virus software to remove viruses, but the ones that are out there today can be very stubborn to remove and could require several attempts. If you have trouble getting a virus removed yourself and you know it is still in there, save yourself the time and headache and go ahead a take it to a professional computer repair person and have it done right so you do not end up causing more damage than is already there.
