Teachers and advisers have a very special place in everyone's life. We are being taught and advised since the day we born. Our parents and teachers always guide us to the right path, selflessly. These are the people who brighten our lives with their guidelines. These are the people, no matter they are with us or not, who stay always in our minds and hearts. You must also have remembered your favorite teacher in your childhood. They share their experiences with us to save us from those mistakes which they made in their lives. They support us through thick and thin of our lives. They support us in our difficult times with the light of their guidance. They celebrate our success and cry with us in our difficult times. No doubt, if they were not present in our lives, we would feel very lonely.
Teachers and mentors are precious people in our business as well. They direct us in different phases of our business such as introduction, growth, success, change and crisis. They help us achieve the goals, we always aim to. Mentors are our leaders who guide us to step forward in the right direction. Leaders are the people who raise our vision to higher dreams. They elevate a person's performance to new heights and develop a personality of an extraordinary person.
Most of us have given a special place in our heart and mind to our teachers and mentors. So suppose if you are someone's mentor, and others have respect and deep gratitude for you. You can just envision the height and strength of the relationship. You would feel a sense of commitment and dedication. In fact there can be many or one person who believes you a mentor. The one you would like to coach or mentor- a person who reminds you of the days of your entry in business.
Experts usually say that if you want to improve your ability, you must teach someone. By doing this, you improve your students' skills and your own abilities as well. Students ask you many questions which enable you to answer only if you know about it. So you prepare yourself for the sake of others.
It would be a great idea to teach others the networking tactics and strategies. Find some person who is just starting the networking job. You can help him in connecting many people and teach many strategies of networking. Teach others the strategies which generated the best results for you. These acts produce the qualities and traits of an expert networker inside you. it helps improve your own networking skills by refreshing all the old things you have learnt and forgotten with the years gone.
Good mentors have some traits in common. For example they are always ready to help others, have had good mentors in their lifetime, have a good image in mentoring, spare time and efforts for others' help, demonstrate as a learner no an expert, display helping and supportive abilities, etc.
