Hiring a cleaner directly, you have to set the products they use, the time they come, the number of hours they work. It will also lead to developing a good working relationship with the cleaner for the future. But if they quit or fall ill, then you will find yourself looking for someone again. Also, since you are the employer, you would have the tax and accounting responsibilities of the cleaner. On the other hand, employing a cleaner through a cleaning agency ensures that even in case of illness or resignation, you get a replacement. The employment, accounting and tax responsibilities are done away with. But the cleaner may refuse to use certain products which you find more suitable. Also, she may refuse to do any extras for you.
